Prof. Dr. Serdar Turkylimaz is known for his remarkable work and publications in the fields of Bariatric surgery, Oncological surgery, Endocrine surgery, Breast surgery, Digestive system surgery, Diseases of the gallbladder, Diseases of the anal region, and Laparoscopic surgery. He received his medical education and specialization from Ankara Faculty of Medicine. Then he gained hands-on experience by working as a General Practitioner at Numune Hospital, Trabzon. He’s also been a research assistant at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon. Dr. Serdar holds professional memberships of several associations including the Turkish Surgical Association, Organ Transplantation Organizations Coordination Association, Black Sea Surgery Association, and Trabzon Public Health Association. Moreover, his dedicated work in the discipline of general surgery has earned him several accolades at the national level.
