With major contributions in the fields of Interventional cardiology, Balloon operations, Intracoronary imaging, Chronic total occlusion, Percutaneous coronary intervention, and Pulmonary valve disease, Prof. Dr. Ilgin Karaca is currently affiliated with Med Park’s Bursa Hospital. His educational journey covers his achievements and recognition including his medical education from Gazi University and his Specialization in Cardiology from Firat University. He’s also been head of the cardiology department at Firat University and Vice President of the Cardiovascular Academy Association. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Ilgin Karaca has also been affiliated with the Turkish Society of Cardiology and the General Secretariat of the Association of Interventional Cardiology. Apart from his affiliation with academia, he is also an active member of several healthcare associations including the Cardiovascular Academy Association (KVAK), the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TKD), and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
