Dr. Ali’s expertise lies in Minimally invasive coronary surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery on the beating heart, invasive valvular heart surgery, Mitral valve repair, Aortic aneurysm surgery, and Interventional peripheral vascular surgery. His national and international publications reflect his extensive contributions to the field of research. His major contributions are in the field of thoracic cardiovascular surgery and medicine. He completed his medical education in 1991 from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, and later completed his specialization in cardiovascular surgery from the same institution. He further got extensive training in cardiovascular surgery from Kosuyou Heart and Research Hospital. Prof. Dr. is currently affiliated with both healthcare and academia and is also an active member of various healthcare and educational organizations including The International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery and the European Association for Cardio Thoracic Surgery.
